Hinges, channels, soft-close and handles. The sheet does not rot, so hardware is what actually wears out - which is why it is branded and why the warranty covers it.
Adhesives

What holds the laminate and the joints. A cheap adhesive is the usual reason a laminate edge lifts a year later.
We do not stock one brand and fit it everywhere. The board grade is picked per piece - a long shelf and a shutter are not the same sheet - and the laminate is yours to choose from the sample books. More about the Kaka sheet and the grades.
What PVC does that wood does not
100% waterproof
No swelling, no warping, no rot. It is why it goes under a washbasin and behind a kitchen platform.
Termite and borer proof
There is no organic material in it. Nothing in the sheet is food for an insect.
Fire retardant
Self-extinguishing - it does not carry a flame the way dry timber does.
Heat and weather resistant
Ahmedabad summers and monsoon damp are what finish wooden furniture early. Neither affects this.
Odourless and hygienic
A non-porous face. It does not hold smells or damp, and wipes clean.
Near zero maintenance
No polish, no oil, no annual treatment. A damp cloth is the whole routine.

What people ask us
Which brand of PVC sheet do you use?
Kaka PVC Profile, DecorPlast and Realplast, picked per piece rather than one board for the whole house. A long shelf needs a ribbed hollow sheet that will not sag; a shutter does not. The brand and the thickness are written on your estimate, so there is a record of what you paid for and you can check the stock before it is cut.
Which hardware do you fit?
Hettich and Godrej for hinges and channels, with Rajvanshi, Bansi, Fittingo and Olive for fittings and handles. This matters more than people expect: the PVC sheet does not rot or get eaten, so hardware is the part that actually wears out. That is also why the hardware is what the two-year warranty mostly covers.
Can I choose the laminate myself?
Yes, and most people do. We carry Flexibond, Hexa Decor, Crystal, Orion, Rama, Lionia, Advance, Skydecor and Silken, and you pick from the sample books at the measuring visit. The laminate is quoted separately from the material rather than hidden inside one figure, because it is the single biggest thing that moves the price.
How do I know I am getting the brand you promised?
Ask to see the stock before it is cut - we show it on request. The genuine sheet carries the brand printed along the edge that gets trimmed off, and it has a consistent density; a copy feels lighter and the foam inside looks coarse. Everything is named on the written estimate, which is the part that matters: a promise you can hold up against what arrived.
Do you use recycled PVC?
No. Only 100% virgin material. Recycled PVC is cheaper and it is the usual reason furniture from a low quote starts failing in two or three years - the sheet goes brittle and stops holding a screw. It is not a saving we are willing to pass on.
