The pairing that works most often in a standard flat. Light tall and upper units, one darker run below. The room stays open and the colour still reads.
Wood grain with a solid
A wood grain against a plain colour rather than against another grain. One of the two has to be quiet or the wall becomes busy.
Two tones, split at the counter
Upper units light, lower units dark, split along the platform line. It suits a galley kitchen where the two runs face each other.

What the colour does after a year
Dark colours show dust, light ones show stains
Neither is maintenance free, they just fail differently. Dark shutters show a week of Ahmedabad dust; cream shows a turmeric mark. Pick for the room, not the showroom.
Grain has a direction
A wood-grain laminate run the wrong way across two adjacent shutters is the commonest finishing mistake in this trade, and it cannot be corrected afterwards without replacing the shutter.

A handleless J-profile or a routed groove removes a whole line of metal from the look, and in PVC it is a cut rather than an extra part.

Which colour is best for a PVC kitchen in Ahmedabad?
There is no single best one, but there is a pattern that works in a standard flat: a light body with one darker run, rather than one colour everywhere or two strong colours fighting. Cream, white and light grey on the tall and upper units keep the room open; the lower units take the darker colour, where marks show least.
Does a dark colour make a small kitchen look smaller?
An all-dark kitchen in a standard Ahmedabad flat does make the room feel smaller, yes. One dark run against a light body does not - it gives the room a line to read instead of closing it in.
Matte or gloss?
Gloss shows every fingerprint and every wipe mark, and a kitchen gets both daily. Matte hides them and does not dull with cleaning. Gloss still looks the better of the two on a wardrobe shutter in a bedroom, which is handled far less.
Should the wardrobe match the kitchen?
They are rarely seen together, so they do not have to. What is worth matching is the wood grain, if both use one - two different grains in the same flat is the thing people notice later and cannot unsee.
